2007 - 2010Supervising on-site quarry works (i.e. excavation, screening, stockpiling and export) in Laois, Athlone and Galway in order to supply materials for the M6-Galway/Ballinasloe carriageway, M6-Killbeggan/Athlone bypass, M7 motorway (Portlaoise to Borris-in-Ossory) and the M8 motorway. Avoiding downtime by performing maintenance and repairs on-site as well as by carefully planning and coordinating all upgrades to allow on-going operation and, therefore, increased productivity. Report writing and data analysis and, therefore, providing key information on quarry performance. Maintaining up-to-date records, ordering new items as required. The preparation and implementation of work plans, health and safety plans and risk assessments. Liaising with the work force and dealing with any technical and/or staffing issues. Liaising with BAM Contractors (formerly Ascon Contractors).
